TWO POEMS by CAITLIN VILLACRUSIS
OUROBOROS I
boy in that he
shells girls out,
circus-esque,
riot-ess bitch
baby, she is such
a bitch, so seedy,
& carved, craved,
snake shot,
bullets side by
side in the neck
(she holds a gun,
& it’s hissing for
you), la-di-da
down the street
or stairs, foamy
in his mouth,
bubble bubble
bitch, rabies got
youuu, she got
you, he sings
when his head
hits the step, his
headstone will
harden like his
head now, his
headstone will
say he is just a
OUROBOROS II
girl in that she
knew what she got
into, girl, she did,
scoop bagel,
manwhore, high
school sweet
heart, on the fucking
platter, fuck him
literally, poster
board play by play
kind of relationship
& all colored in,
shapeless yet all
important because
she did highlight
everything, sorry,
coach, sorry, teach,
sorry, mama, she
would not forgive
herself either &
she knew, she knew,
she held the gun
both hands
